Julius Hodge a 6'7 SG out of St. Raymond high school has been selected to play in the McDonald's All-American game. He is the only player out of New York to be selected this year after 3 were selected last year. Hodge has followed up his stellar junior season whne he averaged nearly 21 points a game with similar numbers this year despite facing a box and 1 against nearly every team he plays against. A year Ben Gordon was expected to be playing in this game but because of his refusal to play in the summer AAU tournaments and his somewhat dissapointing season, as he is averaging 22 points per game after he averaged 26 last season, he will be watching the game with the rest of us. Gordon is still a great player and is probably deserving of a spot but it just goes to show you how important summer ball is.

Also in the Molloy vs. St. Raymond freshman game report I put Dajuan Williams hit a half court 3, that was incorrect, it was Willis Ketrell who hit the shot. Dajuan Williams does not even attend Molloy, if anyone knows what school he goes to please let me know.
