Russell Robinson 6'1 SG Rice

Russell enjoyed a successful Freshman year leading once coach on the Rice staff to say he was their best player a year ago. His success last year led to high expectations this year, but a foot injury over the Christmas Break has put a limit oh what he will be able to do. When he comes back expect him to put up some big numbers. He combines a good jump shot from all over the court, athleticism, and a pretty good handle to allow him to be the scorer that he is. He is also a solid defender with a lot of heart, as shown when he never backed down from the challenge of guarding last year's NY Mr. Basketball Julius Hodge.
