Sundiata "Yata" Gaines
Yata as he is known by can dominate a game on both ends of the court.  He is the best on the ball defender in the class, and he is in my opinion the second best scorer in the class, behind Russell Robinson.  Yata is stronger than most seniors who play the shooting guard position, and playing 14u he is too strong for any guard that tries to defend him.  He has a good but inconsistent jumpshot, takes it to the basket very strong and can rebound well for a guard.  He probably won't play varsity this year at Molloy but I wouldn't be surprised if he  did.  But next year him and Marlon Smith will be one of the best backcourts in the city.
