Last year he showed flashes of how good he could be, most notably his 20 point 11 rebound performance against Westchester (CA). This year with Allan Ray down he has been forced to become a star a year early. He has had plenty of big games which has helped St. Ray's become a contender in the CHSAA with or without Ray. Louie has vastly improved is jump shot over last year. He is now a dependable 3-point and free throw shooter, but his game is taking the ball to the basket. At 6'4 and having long arms he gets shots over taller defenders. He also has a very good handle and can shake smaller defenders with a quick cross and a spin. He is also a relentless rebounder, which frequently allows him to get double doubles. On the defensive end he gets blocks because of his long arms, but stronger players can back him down. Although his jumper is getting better he still needs to improve it o play the 2 guard in college.
